Itinerary Buenos Aires City Tour

The Buenos Aires City Tour is the perfect half day city tour to visit the most traditional and touristic neighborhoods of the city that never sleeps. The Classic City Tour will take you through beautiful and picturesque places of ancient colonial buildings full of history, passing by buildings built in the best Paris style and bordering magnificent and modern glass and steel skyscrapers.

The tour takes place during two shifts: one at 9am and another one at 2pm, with daily departures in comfortable tour buses. The Classic City Tour starts from the Plaza San Martín surrounded by magnificent Belle Époque buildings, crossing the neighborhood of Recoleta towards the center of the city.

Some of the places that this Classic City Tour will take you to are the historic Plaza de Mayo, where the Cathedral, the Cabildo, and the famous Casa Rosada(pink house), the presidential palace, are located. The guided tour continues through the San Telmo neighborhood where the first aristocrats of Buenos Aires settled. They then moved north at the end of the 19th century. At the moment the San Telmo is one of the most beloved district of Buenos Aires thanks to its architecture, tanguerías and stores of antiquities.

The tour continues through the famous La Boca neighborhood where you can walk along the street-museum of Caminito set in honor of the culture of tango and the immigration of Italians. The guided tour returns through Puerto Madero with its modern buildings and the famous Puente de la Mujer. It is the port district of the city with its important corporate and gastronomic center.

The tour then continues to the traditional neighborhood of Palermo known for its beautiful parks designed by the landscape-painter Charles Thays and ends in the Recoleta neighborhood.

The return shuttle bus will take you to a point near your hotel where you can easily return to your accommodation. If you need the door to door service for your return, notify our operators.
