This day tour in the Amazon is perfect for people who are looking for adventurous experiences as it allows them to get to know its tropical landscapes in-depth, navigate its waters and meet the native tribes.
From the port of Manaus’ the city located in the heart of the Amazon Forest, we will go to the pier and take a motorboat with safety equipment, and with a duly qualified captain with which we will cross the Rio Negro river.
On this one-day tour to Amazon, you will have the chance to swim with pink dolphins, visit a typical Amazon village to meet the Dessanos, Tucanos tribes, and the shaman of the community, and learn about the magnificent handmade crafts they produce. After the visit to the Amazon village, we will go on a hike through the Amazon jungle where our guide will show you the different medicinal uses of the Amazon plants, and you will discover an open-air pharmacy!
After the hike it is time to take a lunch break in the Jungle Queen floating restaurant and recharge our batteries with regional food and then enjoy a canoe ride through the Amazon river, crossing the flooded forests and its streams, observing the local flora and fauna.
