Explore the Guarani community near Puerto Iguazu on this unique excursion, perfect to add to your Iguazu Falls itinerary. Immerse yourself in a journey through the Guarani culture, discovering their traditions and living their daily life.
The tour starts at your accommodation in Iguazu, where we will take you in all-terrain vehicles to the Guarani Village Fortín M'Borore. There, we will enter the world of their traditional cuisine. We will walk among their crops, revealing the essential components of their food, including manioc, beans, sweet potatoes, corn, among others. We will also visit their typical houses, learning about the materials with which they are made and tasting meals made with fresh ingredients of the day.
The trip continues with the exploration of the native vegetation, emphasizing its importance for the Guarani. You will receive a guide to recognize various tree species, identifying them by their Guarani name and learning about their characteristics.
We will advance to know the traps that the community of Fortín M'Borore uses, understanding their purpose and the animals to which they are destined.
Don't miss the "Tobacco Ceremony", a spiritual act led by the shaman along with a group of local children, where you will participate in chants that honor the deities and thank mother earth, culminating with a special blessing for the attendees.
Finally, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills in activities such as archery and wood crafting. The most outstanding in each challenge for 15 minutes will receive recognition.

- Tour policy: The 15hs departure is subject to availability, we recommend to consult support in case you need that schedule.
- Children policy: Children up to 5 years old do not pay. From 6 years old onwards they pay the adult price. The guide/tour coordinator may ask for children's identification if necessary.
- Transfer policy: Please note that the transfer from Foz do Iguaçu (Brazilian side) has extra cost, given its remoteness. You have the option to add it during the purchase.
- Mission: Through this tour you contribute to improve the quality of life of the Mbyá-Guaraní community of Misiones, to preserve their indigenous cosmovision and to protect the environment.
- Additional language guide: English speaking guide has additional cost, if you require it, you can add it during the booking.
- Dress code and recommendations: We recommend you bring sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes and light-colored long-sleeved shirt.
