9:00 am: Pick-up from your hotel in Puno
Our team will pick you up from your accommodation in Puno and transfer you to the kayak dock at Isla Esteves. There, you will meet your experienced guide and receive a brief orientation on kayak handling and safety procedures.
9:30 am: Begin kayaking on Lake Titicaca
Once you're ready, you’ll start paddling through the calm waters of Lake Titicaca. Enjoy stunning views of the lake and Andean mountains as you make your way towards the Uros Islands. The journey will take approximately 1 hour, covering a distance of about 16 kilometers round trip.
10:30 am: Arrival at Uros Islands – Suma Kile
Your first stop is at Suma Kile island, one of the many floating islands made entirely of totora reeds. A local family will welcome you and share their knowledge about the construction and maintenance of these incredible islands. You’ll learn about the history, culture, and lifestyle of the Uros people, which has been preserved for generations.
You’ll have free time to explore the island, interact with the locals, and even opt for a ride on a traditional totora reed boat (optional, for a small additional fee).
11:30 am: Return to Puno
