Itinerary Panoramic Tour to Valle Nevado and Farellones:

Valle Nevado is a ski resort located in the Andes Mountains, about 46 kilometers east of Santiago, Chile. It is one of the largest ski centers in South America and has 44 ski and snowboard runs of different levels of difficulty, as well as a wide range of accommodations, restaurants, and services.

On the other hand, Farellones is a small mountain village located in the same sector as Valle Nevado. It is known for its quiet and picturesque atmosphere and has some smaller and less crowded ski slopes than those of Valle Nevado.

In both destinations, you can enjoy activities such as skiing, snowboarding, sledding, and snowmobile rides, among others. In addition, throughout the year you can do activities such as trekking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and much more (not included in this regular tour).

During this trip from Santiago, you will observe how the landscape changes from the center of the capital towards the Cordillera. Behind are the modern buildings and begins to appear the wild vegetation and a road of 40 curves that allows you to see Santiago from the height and to breathe fresh mountain air.

The road to reach the Farellones viewpoint is a spectacle for its incredible curves.

Itinerary:

Our itinerary starts around 6:00 - 8:30 a.m. with an early morning departure from Santiago, where we will pick you up at your lodging.

Approximately at 10:00 a.m., we will arrive at 2.700 m.a.s.l., where Farellones is located, one of the few mountain villages in Chile that represents a unique postcard that deserves to be photographed. It is a popular ski resort in Chile and has several slopes for skiers of different skill levels. In addition to skiing, Farellones offers many other outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, canopy, and horseback riding (not included in the regular tour).

The town has a wide variety of restaurants where you can try typical dishes of the region, such as cazuela, pastel de choclo (corn pie), and asado (barbecue).

Farellones, one of the most visited ski centers in Chilean Patagonia.

Then we will continue on the route and stop at the viewpoints of Tres Valles and Lomas del Viento.

The Tres Valles viewpoints are a series of observation points on the road leading to the Valle Nevado ski resort, located in the Andes Mountains about 46 km east of Santiago, the capital of Chile. These lookout points offer breathtaking panoramic views of the valley and mountain and are an excellent way to appreciate the natural beauty of the area.

The Lomas del Viento viewpoint, meanwhile, is located on the same road and is known for its spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. From this viewpoint, you can see the imposing snow-capped peaks of the Andes, as well as the city of Santiago in the distance. In addition, there is a small rest area and some local handicraft stalls where you can buy souvenirs.

Next, we will also stop to play in the snow at the famous Plaza Los Pumas, where you will enjoy the spectacular views of the mountain range with its huge snow-capped peaks.

We will also visit the ski resorts of El Colorado and La Parva, which, due to their proximity to the capital and the offer of services and slopes for all kinds of practices, has become the ideal center for the whole family.

We will continue our ascent to Valle Nevado, where there are 20 turns left to reach this ski center located at 3000 m.a.s.l. Its 44 slopes of different degrees of difficulty and 17 lifts make this complex the most modern in South America. Then we will have enough time for lunch (at the passengers' expense) and in the afternoon we will return to Santiago to be at your hotel at 18:00 hs approx.

Enjoy the snow visiting Valle Nevado and Farellones, you will love it!

If you are one of those who like to spend the day in one place enjoying different activities, you can decide to pay the entrance fee to Farellones Park and stay there until 15:30. It is an "extra" price that you would have to add to the price of the tour.
