Itinerary
The Tigre full-day tour with Tourist Bus from Buenos Aires is an ideal excursion for those who seek to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and explore the natural beauty of the Northern area of Greater Buenos Aires through a tourist bus and a boat ride through the Paraná Delta.
The full-day tour begins in the morning with a pick up from the downtown hotels and will take you north of the city of Buenos Aires through important attractions such as the Palermo Woods, the Costanera Norte and the exclusive district of San Isidro until you reach Tigre. A local guide will be waiting for you there, and through the Tigre Tourist Bus, he will accompany you to visit the main points of interest of the locality, among which are the Tigre Art Museum, with a collection of art perfectly preserved by the river, and the Victorica Walk that combines nature, views of the river, gastronomy and nautical clubs.
Once the city tour is over, you can recharge your batteries with a typical three-step porteño lunch at the Villa Julia restaurant, a mansion built in 1906 by Engineer Maschwitz as a summer residence in front of the Luján River and which was transformed into a boutique hotel. After lunch, the full day Tigre tour continues with a visit to the Puerto de Frutos where you will have free time to visit the colorful market and discover the interesting handcrafted products of the region and even why not buy some souvenirs made by hand with wicker, leather or wood.
Around 15:30 hs we will depart from the Tigre Fluvial Station in a boat ride along the Paraná River that will sail for almost two hours along the canals, streams, and rivers of the Tigre Delta observing the coast of San Isidro, Martínez, Olivos, the Río de la Plata Court, and Aeroparque. You will learn about the natural characteristics of the Tigre islands and the peaceful lifestyle of the islanders while enjoying coffee and a delicious Argentinean alfajor while sailing. Arriving at the crossroads of the Río de la Plata, you will be able to admire a magnificent view of the City of Buenos Aires with a sunset on the north coast and finally return to the exclusive Puerto Madero neighborhood.
Book the Tigre full-day tour with Tourist Bus from Buenos Aires and explore the surroundings of the city and its particular lifestyle on a day full of nature!
