Itinerary Excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier from Puerto Natales:
Patagonia is one of the least populated but most amazing regions in the world. It is a tourist destination par excellence. So if you are in Chile, do not miss the opportunity to visit the Perito Moreno Glacier and enjoy one of the most incredible natural spectacles of the region.
This Excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier includes transfers to and from your hotel in Puerto Natales. The day starts very early when you are picked up at your hotel to start your journey across the border of Cerro Castillo to Calafate, in Argentina, where you will observe the Patagonian steppe and its fauna characterized by ñandúes, foxes, and birds of prey.
After a short rest, you will continue the trip to Los Glaciares National Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1981. There you will find the famous Perito Moreno glacier, the only glacier in the world located on Lake Argentino, which continues to advance and constantly offers some of the most majestic spectacles of nature: the detachment of its icebergs.
During the tour you will find several viewpoints from where you will be able to take nice pictures from different angles of the 60 meters high ice landslides.
This tour in Patagonia ends as we safely take you back to your hotel in Puerto Natales with the satisfaction of having witnessed one of the most incredible natural spectacles of the Patagonian steppe. Book online with local experts!
