Itinerary

The Classic City Tour with Sailing in Buenos Aires is one of the most complete tours of the city that allows to know the neighborhoods of Palermo, Recoleta, Microcentro, San Telmo, La Boca and Puerto Madero to finish enjoying a navigation by the Rio de la Plata with exclusive views.

The half day tour begins in the morning with the pick up from your hotel and will take you through the northern area of the city, visiting the neighborhoods of Retiro, Palermo and Recoleta. There you will discover the beautiful mansions of French style, legacy of the years of splendor of the Buenos Aires high society of the beginning of the XX century with its museums and monuments and you will be surprised with its ample green spaces and its natural gullies. Then we will head towards 9 de Julio Avenue, the widest in the world, and we will see the Colón Theater and the Obelisco, the largest symbol of Buenos Aires. Continuing through the microcentro we will arrive at Plaza de Mayo, the place where the city was founded in 1580 and we will have the first stop to visit the Government House, the Cabildo and the Metropolitan Cathedral.

Then we will continue to the South to breathe tango in his native neighborhood, San Telmo, and visit the suburbs until we reach the neighborhood of La Boca where is the stadium of the Boca Juniors Athletic Club, better known as the Bombonera, where you will have free time to take pictures and tour the area. The last descent will be in the picturesque Caminito street where you can take a walk among the colorful conventillos where Italian immigrants settled at the end of the nineteenth century. The tour ends in Puerto Madero where you will visit one of its emblems, the Puente de la Mujer, and discover a modern neighborhood that was restored in the 90's and became the largest and most elegant gastronomic area in Buenos Aires. From there we will sail about 30 minutes along the Rio de la Plata and get the best panoramic views of the city while enjoying a coffee and a rich Argentinean alfajor.
