- The first stop of our tour is in Awana Kancha, which means "The Palace of Weavings", a village where 420 families live and make these handicrafts as their main economic activity and way of life. It is a very good place to buy wool, llama and alpaca garments.
- You will continue to the picturesque Pisac market, filled with dozens of stalls displaying and selling products created by the locals. This is the shopping paradise of the Andes, where bartering is still practiced. You will feel in a unique environment and have time to take a break and enjoy a delicious typical lunch at a local restaurant.
- Then, we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo, famous for its great archeological complex, which is undoubtedly one of the monumental works of the Inca empire. You will be able to stroll through the picturesque streets and appreciate great walls and monoliths, as well as the Temple of the Sun, built with massive stones, each approximately 3.5 meters high.
