Excursion to Torres del Paine in 4x4

The Excursion to Torres del Paine in 4x4 begins with a two-and-a-half-hour journey through the Patagonian steppe until you reach the border crossing of Cancha Carrera and from there you start going around the beautiful south of Chile until entering Torres del Paine National Park where we will arrive around 11 am. Onboard a 4X4 truck, specially adapted to provide the greatest safety and comfort for this type of rugged terrain, we will visit the main points, from where we will undertake walks that allow us to access the panoramic viewpoints of the most important natural points of interest in the Park.

As the tour route adjusts to the weather and is decided by the guide at the time, the itinerary and walks can also be adapted to the group's profile, choosing the most appropriate paths from among the varied ones offered by the place. It should be noted that all walks are carried out in the company of our authorized hiking guides. In general, if the day is clear and the Towers are visible from the morning, the entrance to the Park is through the Laguna Amarga (Panoramic view of the Towers) and once you arrive at the Laguna Amarga Porter, you will have a picnic on the banks of the Paine River while enjoying its beautiful views, protected from the wind. Passengers who want a more extreme experience, can put their food in a backpack and take a 50-minute hike in ascent with the guide along the Wildlife Trail for lunch with a panoramic viewpoint.

After the break, we will start the tour again and make some stops at various viewpoints (Swan Lagoon, The Nordenskjold Upper Lookout Point), until we reach Salto Grande, from where we will take a walk to the Lookout Point at Los Cuernos del Paine on the shores of Lake Nordenskjold. This is a guided hike and lasts about 2 hours. Finally, it continues on in a vehicle to a new viewpoint, near Lake Pehoe, from where you will have one of the most well-known views of the National Park, with the Horns and the French Valley in the background, framed by the Pehoe and Nordenskjold lakes. From there you will also see Paine Grande Mountain and Admiral Nieto.
