The tour to the first vineyards
The visit to Viña Undurraga departs from your hotel in the Chilean capital towards the prodigious land of the Maipo Valley.
This is where the first vineyards were founded, thanks to the climatic conditions and the excellent soils of the Andes Mountains. Viña Undurraga was founded in 1885 by Don Francisco Undurraga Vicuña, who named the place Santa Ana, in honor of his wife Ana Fernández Iñiguez.
The excursion in this Santiago vineyard will begin in the park, which in the past was the setting for banquets and currently serves a similar function as a space for celebrations and various events.
The wine tour continues through subway cellars, where Undurraga's best wines are stored. At this point, the tasting will take place, guided by an expert who will help you distinguish flavors and aromas. Finally, you will return to the capital with the satisfaction of having visited an enchanting vineyard.
