Itinerary, Biking the Camino de la Muerte (Death Road)
The Death Road Bolivia, better known as the "Most Dangerous Road in the World", is one of the most popular places to go mountain biking.
This adventure starts above the clouds at 4,700 meters and then zigzags down a narrow (64 km) road through clouds, under waterfalls, across streams and over spectacular viewpoints until it reaches the high jungle of the lush Amazon at about 1,100 meters.
The dreaded Camino de la Muerte begins in Unduavi where the road has no asphalt, giving way to a dirt road and stones.
- The name of this route is no coincidence, as the route has constant blind curves that lead to immense vertical cliffs of more than 800 meters.
If you are one of those people who love adrenaline, do not wait any longer to live this unique adventure. During the tour you will enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains and the descent to warmer climates with green landscapes and beautiful waterfalls, finally arriving to the wildlife reserve called "Senda Verde", where you can take a break, hydrate and enjoy a delicious lunch.
