Itinerary Beagle Channel Cruise and Walk with Penguins

Travel to Argentine Patagonia and experience the legendary Beagle Channel and its surrounding scenery. Make the experience even more special by walking with penguins on Martillo Island with this magical tour in South America.

This tour starts in the morning, we will meet at our meeting point located at the picturesque tourist pier. From there, we will embark to the impressive Martillo Island. We will travel in a comfortable bus along route N.3, where you will be able to appreciate the beauty of the beautiful Fuegian forest while taking unforgettable pictures.

Among the tourist sites you will visit in this part of Patagonia is Estancia Harberton, the oldest, most traditional and authentic ranch in Ushuaia. Here you will take a guided tour of the Acatushún Museum of Austral Birds and Mammals, where you will observe an incredible collection of skeletons of more than 2,700 marine mammals and 2,300 birds.

Afterwards, we will sail approximately 20 minutes in a semi-rigid to the island, where you will have the unique opportunity to walk with Magellanic and Papua Penguins in Tierra del Fuego for an hour, an unforgettable experience that you will surely remember forever. You will also be able to observe other fascinating bird species such as Nordic skuas, petrels, cormorants and South American terns.

Before returning to the city, we will visit a cozy café in Puerto Almanza, where you can relax and enjoy a quiet afternoon. In the afternoon, we will meet again to sail the impressive Beagle Channel in our yacht. During this trip, you will have the opportunity to see the Fuegian birdlife at Isla de Pájaros and Isla de Lobos, as well as the famous Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, a true treasure of the region.
