Come to know the Rainbow Valley in San Pedro de Atacama with this half day tour and get to know the reddish, beige, green and white colors that this valley has to offer, a few kms from San Pedro de Atacama, very close to the Petroglyphs of Yerbas Buenas.
This tour starts when we pick you up at the hotels in San Pedro de Atacama on the way to Yerbas Buenas, destination where we will stop to enjoy its landscapes like the beautiful view of the Domeyko mountain range, the Andes mountain range and the famous Salt mountain range.
After knowing part of the culture of Yerbas Buenas and seeing petroglyphs up to 6000 years old, we will prepare to go to the Rainbow Valley in the Domeyko Mountain Range, where you will observe its characteristic variety of colors thanks to its different concentrations of clay, salts and minerals.
Finally, we will continue our journey to Río Grande, a small town with talented artisans and farmers, there you will have time to walk around the place, visit its typical markets and take some souvenirs.
