Itinerary Excursion to Cerro Tronador and Black Glacier

This day tour in Bariloche takes you to Nahuel Huapi National Park. On the border between Argentina and Chile is the highest mountain in the Andes, Mount Tronador, an impressive 3,491m high volcano, famous for its multiple peaks and seven glaciers.

This inspiring day tour to Mount Tronador starts in Bariloche and travels along the famous Route 40, from where you have incredible views of the Gutierrez and Mascardi lakes. The guided tour continues and crosses a beautiful bridge over the Manso River to Pampa Linda, a forest ideal for camping and hiking at the foot of Mount Tronador.

After crossing a forest, we will appreciate the spectacular views of the Manso Glacier, also known as Black Glacier, one of the best landscapes in Patagonia, surrounded by Mount Tronador. At the foot of the mountain you will visit a beautiful rocky place called Garganta del Diablo, its main attraction are the waterfalls that fall from great height, product of the thaw. The tour ends here, at the foot of the mountain, from where you will be taken back to Bariloche.

With this day tour to Nahuel Huapi National Park you will get to know magical landscapes around Bariloche, typical sceneries of the Argentinean Patagonia and the Andes Mountains. This is an incredible opportunity to get in touch with natural wonders.
