It is friendship month in Argentina. To celebrate with you, every day we will share the Bsas4u team’s insider tips to our favourite places and attractions in Buenos Aires. Each of these places has a real porteña soul, and we always recommend them to our friends coming to visit Buenos Aires. These are the places we hold dear to our hearts, just for you, so take note!

Whose tips: David Luna — Spanish Content Editor for Daytours4u, from Colombia What he likes: David is passionate about literature, enjoys cooking, and watching football with his friends. When he has a little more time, he enjoys walking in the streets to see nature and to people watch. He likes to spend his holidays in the countryside, exploring new landscapes and meeting new people. He is known in the team for being a big lover of books and contemporary literature.

David recommends: La Costanera Sur

It is a perfect place to ride a bike, walk, and breathe in some fresh air. On weekends, there are many markets and different restaurants here, all of which are very nice. There is always something to do and see, with cultural events in the open air, or artistic companies putting on performances and shows. According to David, La Costanera represents tranquility and authenticity, away from the shopping malls and busy city. La Costanera is home to a large nature reserve, called the Ecological Reserve. Between 1900 and 1950, thousands of Buenos Aires' inhabitants used this place to bathe and cool off in its waters on hot summer days. This stopped after the water became contaminated and bathing here was forbidden. Today, the reserve is a paradise for nature lovers, where you can observe many species of plants and animals.
