The excuse for people to dress up and party has spread as Halloween celebrations have started to spring up all around the world. Celebrating Halloween in Buenos Aires and Argentina is no exception and in the last decade, Halloween has become more popular in Buenos Aires. As the expat community has continued to grow and with the constant flow of travellers into Buenos Aires, the bars, pubs and clubs have begun to celebrate this occasion. Halloween takes place this year on Monday the 31st of October with most of the parties are taking place on Saturday the 29th of October, however, there have been Halloween themed parties all of this week. Porteños do not need any excuse to throw a party and as the number of parties increase, we are going to show how best to celebrate Halloween in Buenos Aires this year. The eastern area of Capital Federal, especially the Once district has the best selection of fancy dress shops. The majority of the fancy dress shops can be found on Lavalle.

They are having a Halloween party on Thursday 27th October and if you enter before 2am, it is only AR$30 (after 2am AR$50). The club is located on Niceto Vega and Humboldt. • Opium Garden – Is offering a classy Halloween celebration on Friday 28th October. Famous electronica DJ Lucas Nardi will be playing on the main floor. Tickets and prices can be obtained by emailing [email protected]. The club is located at Juan B. Justo 1659.

The Buenos Aires Pub crawl promises to be even bigger this year. It is on Saturday 29th October, costs AR$100 and starts with a Bar Crawl (limited to 200 people) and ends up in Le Click club.
