Cavern Garden | Bsas4u

It is friendship month in Argentina. To celebrate with you, every day we will share the Bsas4u team’s insider tips to our favourite places and attractions in Buenos Aires. Each of these places has a real porteña soul, and we always recommend them to our friends coming to visit Buenos Aires. These are the places we hold dear to our hearts, just for you, so take note!

Whose tips: Nohelia Sanchez — Daytours4u Marketing Manager & Co-founder, from Bogotá, Colơmbia What she likes: Nohelia likes to walk in the streets of Buenos Aires and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the different neighbourhoods. She loves meeting people from different countries and learning more about each culture. But what she loves most is exploring the world with her son, and showing him the beautiful things that life has to offer. Otherwise she enjoys the simple pleasures of a good coffee in the morning with arepas (a Colombian speciality) and tropical fruits from her country.

Nohelia recommends: The Cavern

She loves going for a pizza and beer at this quirky place. The Cavern is so special because there are no tourists, and you cannot imagine you could find a place like this while walking down Corrientes. The Cavern is in Paseo la Plaza, a magical place, with a distinctive atmosphere. It is a small place, hidden from sight. More than just a restaurant there is also a museum dedicated to the Beatles, independent theatres, concerts, and if you want to practice some Cuban salsa steps after your meal, this is also possible! Read our full review of Paseo la Plaza to see what this secret spot has to offer!

How to get there:

The Cavern: Av. Corrientes 1660, Buenos Aires From the Obelisk: the fastest way is on foot, walking up Corrientes Avenue. About 11 minutes.
