Itinerary

This tour is the opportunity to get to know, in one day, the two sister cities in Pernambuco: Recife, known as the Venice of Brazil and Olinda, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

After meeting at the agreed time, we will meet a guide who will accompany us throughout this City Tour in Recife and Olinda. We will begin the tour of Recife with a walk along the shore of Boa Viagem, one of the most famous urban beaches in Brazil. If you wish, you can board a catamaran (tour not included) for half an hour, admire the views of the city and discover why this area has been called the "Brazilian Venice".

We will continue our way until we reach the Marco Cero Square and from here we will continue the tour on foot. We will cross the Rua do Bom Jesús, where the Kahal Zur Israel Synagogue, the Embassy of the Giant Dolls (entrance not included) and the Open Air Museum are located. Then we will get back on the bus to enjoy a panoramic view of Recife where we will discover the attractions of the city, including the islands of Recife, Santo Antonio and Boa Vista, and we will also pass by the Mauricio de Nassau Bridge to the Plaza de la Republic, where we will see the Government Palace, the Santa Isabel Theater and the Justice Palace.

The City Tour continues to Olinda where we walk through the main streets of the old town, observing the colonial architecture with its colorful and well-preserved houses. Here they will tell you that their main attraction is the carnival, considered the best in Brazil. We will close the visit by climbing to the top of Alto da Sé with the Churches of la Sé and de la Misericordia, from where you get beautiful views of Olinda, Recife, and the sea.

The City Tour in Recife and Olinda is ideal for travelers who want to see the main tourist spots in a single day. You will learn about history and culture on a ride that you will not want to miss. Book now with Daytours4u!
