Day 1 Welcome to Rio de Janeiro

Upon arrival at Rio de Janeiro's international airport, we will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you to your selected hotel. The rest of the day will be free for you to enjoy as you wish or to rest from your trip. 

Day 2: Full day tour of Rio de Janeiro

During this day we will pick you up at your hotel to visit Corcovado Hill and the statue of Christ the Redeemer, which stands at 710 meters high. This is one of the most visited places in the city, and an ecological tour, as Corcovado Hill is located inside the Tijuca Forest National Park, the largest urban forest in the world.

• From the top of the hill, you can see the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon in the north of the city and several beaches. 

After enjoying the wonderful panoramic view that this place offers, we will go to the legendary Maracanã Stadium, where we will stop to visit the Maracanã Museum (optional). Then we will go to the famous Avenida do Carnaval, Sambódromo, with access to the Samba Museum and the entrance to the Apoteose Square.

We will have lunch at a traditional Rio steakhouse and after lunch we will move on to the next sight, the Sugar Loaf. 

• This is located 395 meters above sea level, in the middle of the Guanabara Bay. The ascent is made by a glass cable car to the top of the mountain, from where you can enjoy a wonderful 360° view of Guanabara Bay, Copacabana, Urca, Botafogo, Flamengo and its surroundings. 

Before ending the tour, we will pass through the Historic Center of the city with stops at the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Selarón Staircase, passing by the famous Lapa Arches. After a day of culture, we will return to the hotel.

Day 3: Free day in Rio de Janeiro

This day will be free for you to enjoy as you prefer. On this day Daytours4u suggests the optional jeep tour to the Tijuca Forest and the Botanical Garden.

Day 4: Free day in Rio de Janeiro

Day 5: Departure to Paraty 

We will pick you up at your hotel in Rio de Janeiro to take you to the nearby city of Paraty, located 250 km away, which will take about 4 hours.

Once in Paraty, we will drop you off at your hotel and then you will have the rest of the day free to explore the city.

Day 6: Schooner trip to the beaches of Paraty

This day of adventure on the beaches of Paraty begins at the meeting point, the Paraty pier, where we board a schooner.

• This beautiful boat is all wood. It has an open deck, allowing you to easily go down to the bathing places. It also has specialized equipment and all the necessary services for an unforgettable trip. 

During this day of the itinerary you will visit the best beaches and islands where we will make four stops, each of about 40 minutes, to swim and take pictures in the crystal clear waters or just lie on the deck to enjoy the sun. Some of the beaches we visit are: Lula da Praia, Praia Vermelha, Ilha Comprida, Ilha do Algodão, among others.

Day 7: Free day in Paraty

This day will be free for you to enjoy as you prefer. On this day Daytours4u suggests the optional tour to Trindade beach.

Day 8: Free day in Paraty

Day 9: Farewell to Paraty and Rio de Janeiro

After breakfast, we will take you from the hotel to Rio de Janeiro International Airport so that you arrive in time for your flight.
